• Claim Information: WEX advises participants to file the claims towards the HSA within the plan year to ensure taxes as well as HSA Reporting is correct! Outside of that, there is no timeline of when a participant needs to submit claims towards the HSA.

• HSA Only: Contribution Change
  This is only to change the amount that you contribute to the HSA. Once you submit, it can take up to two payrolls to update. It is your responsibility to make sure you are not exceeding the annual IRS limit if you increase your contribution amount. If you no longer want to contribute, then list $0. You will still be enrolled and continue to receive the employer contribution. The HSA contribution limits for 2025 are $4,300 for self-only coverage and $8,550 for family coverage. Those 55 and older can contribute an additional $1,000 as a catch-up contribution.

• HSA ONLY: Employer contribution: To receive the Health Savings Account Employer Contribution listed in the benefit guide, you have to enroll in the HDHP plan and the Health Savings Account.​If you miss a paycheck, you will not receive the Employer contribution on the Health Savings Account (HSA). You must receive a paycheck each payroll to receive the ER contribution. As a reminder, the ER contribution is divided over payrolls.
